We’re told to expect two inches of rain over the weekend, so we can probably expect the Sainsburys/McDonalds bridge underpass to be flooded, as well as other notorious ‘floodholes’ in the town. My house has a downward-sloping driveway, and the drainage system in front of our garage isn’t very effective at all, so we’re likely to get some flooding in the garage over the weekend.

If you’re subject to any flooding or adverse weather effects over the week, please do send us your pictures and we’ll be glad to put them on the website.

I’ve been away in Germany & Austria since Friday 15th, but I’m back in sunny Dunstable now, and the website will be top priority over the coming weeks.
